Aspects of Creating Multilayer Coatings by Plasma Spraying

In the work, taking into account state of issue in field applying multilayer heat-shielding and wear-resistant coatings, directions research are substantiated. The objectives development are: improvement powder materials containing zirconium dioxide partially stabilized with yttrium oxide for plasma deposition coa-tings; ceramics nickel-based alloys coatings; technological parameters spraying subsequent processing by effects compression on coating; analysis quality protective coatings obtained using optimal technology studying their structure physical mechanical properties. ZrO 2 – 7 % Y O 3 particles contain predominant tetragonal 0.15 Zr 0.85 0.93 phase, monoclinic cubic phases, Al –TiO –Ni–Cr–Al–Y–Ta composition contains Cr 1.12 Ni 2.88 phase solid solution, a-Al , g-Al orthorhombic titanium TiO that contribute to its wear resistance. optimization process coatings.
